Sutter Health Supports eQuest's American Dream Radio Interview Series for U.S. Troops

Inspiring Our Armed Forces Stationed Worldwide

SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 1, 2011) - For thousands of American soldiers stationed around the globe, the Armed Forces Radio Network and eQuest's American Dream Radio series serves as an important connection to home. eQuest and the Sutter Health network announced today Sutter's 2012 sponsorship of the radio project.

"These shows demonstrate that anyone, from any diverse background, education or age, can succeed in turning their dreams into reality," said Clay Breuner, Executive Producer of the American Dream series. "It's important for our troops to know that anything is possible and the show clearly demonstrates this through our interviews."

Broadcast weekly in more than 177 countries, American Dream tells the inspiring true stories of men and women who served in the armed forces or entertained and supported the troops, and then went on to achieve the "American Dream." Interviews set for broadcast include astronaut Buzz Aldrin, auto racing great Mario Andretti, American Idol's Kelly Pickler, and model turned successful business woman, Kathy Ireland.

"We are grateful for the many sacrifices made by the men and women in our armed forces, some of whom are members of our Sutter Health family," said Pat Fry, president and CEO of Sutter Health. "These physicians, nurses, technicians, support staff and other professionals travel to remote parts of the world to provide essential medical services and other vital assistance while also helping to advance the quality of health care here in Northern California."

Fry added, "We greatly respect their contributions to our country and proudly support this interview series."
