Swedish Defense Goes Live With Mxi Technologies Maintenix® Software

Mxi Maintenix software continues to be the platform of choice for advanced PBL programs

OTTAWA, CANADA--(Marketwire - March 17, 2009) - Mxi Technologies announced today that the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) Fenix project has successfully gone live with Mxi Maintenix® software. Chosen for its ability to increase mission readiness, Maintenix now forms the IT cornerstone of the FMV's innovative Performance-based Logistics (PBL) program.

With the Maintenix software, Total Asset Visibility (TAV) and insight into actual in-service asset status and maintenance costs for all Swedish military aviation assets is now made possible. Maintenix provides the FMV with increased quality and efficiency in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data, enabling real-time communication between the aircraft operators and OEMs.

The internationalized solution, with support for multiple languages, replaces several legacy systems and integrates with the Gripen Fighter data acquisition systems, allowing the FMV to make significant advances in product support.

"This unique initiative encompasses all aviation assets and Gripen foreign military sales, offering unprecedented continuity between Defence and Industry," said Les Hine, President of Mxi Technologies. "With the direct involvement of the OEMs, the level of integration and communication provided by Fenix will increase visibility and improve productivity for all organizations involved."
