Sweeble, Mobile App Turning Social "Like" Into "Love," Launches

New App Offering Free Intensity-Based Social Interactions for Apple and Android Premieres at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 11, 2015) - Sweeble, the first social media app with a scalable Like feature, today announced its official launch in the Apple App Store and Google Play. The free, photo- and video-sharing mobile app for iOS and Android focuses on intensity-based interactions, measuring how much a user "Likes" content based on the amount of time they hold down the heart icon. To commemorate the launch, Sweeble will be hosting a celebratory event from 7-11 p.m. PST, this evening, at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. This will mark the first time a technology company has premiered at the iconic landmark.

Sweeble is redefining how content popularity is measured on social media by empowering users to track and gauge the influence of every post, giving them an understanding of which content resonates best with their community of friends and followers. After only four months in private beta, Sweeble already has:

Users can intensify how much they like a photo or video by holding their finger down on the heart icon for a preferred period of time. The level of intensity is measured by how many seconds a user touches that picture or video.
