Swire Beverages, a Major Coca-Cola Franchisee, Expands Use of IFT's DiesoLiFT™ 10 for Fuel Efficiency and Reduced Emissions

ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwire - September 14, 2010) -  International Fuel Technology, Inc. (IFT) (OTCBB: IFUE) announced today that Swire Beverages, a major Coca-Cola full service franchisee, has made additional purchases of DiesoLiFT 10 and is now using the additive in eight distribution depots in China. Swire began purchasing DiesoLiFT 10 in April of 2010 after a two-year evaluation process that demonstrated the efficacy of the additive.

"We began using DiesoLiFT 10 in three of our distribution depots in April of this year and due to the noticeable and significant improvement in fuel efficiency we have decided to expedite the roll out of the product to additional distribution depots," said Jeff Wen, Swire Beverages Warehouse and Distribution Manager. "We are now using the product in eight depots and expect to complete system-wide rollout in 2011. We will then further expand our usage to include third party logistics partners."

"We have embarked upon a green distribution initiative to enhance fleet efficiency and reduce the environmental impact and carbon footprint of our fleet operations across the greater China region," said Raymond Cheng, GM Supply Chain - Environment. "The improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions that we are realizing by using DiesoLiFT 10 is a major contributor to our efforts."

Swire Beverages, a subsidiary of Swire Pacific Ltd., has the franchise to manufacture, market and distribute products of The Coca-Cola Co. in Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as part of 11 states in the USA and seven provinces in Mainland China. Swire Beverages' combined franchise territories support a population of over 420 million consumers. Swire Beverages is recognized as one of a select group of strategic business partners of The Coca-Cola Co. known as the 'Anchor Bottlers.'

"Any road transport fleet interested in saving money through reduced fuel costs and reducing their carbon footprint should be interested in using DiesoLiFT 10," said Gary Kirk, IFT's Director of Sales and Marketing. "Use of DiesoLiFT 10 has consistently demonstrated the ability to reduce fuel consumption, on average, by 5%."
