Symantec CEO to Keynote at CSFB Conference

CUPERTINO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 28, 2005 -- Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMC) today announced that Symantec Chairman and CEO John W. Thompson will keynote at the CSFB Conference in Scottsdale, Ariz. Thompson's presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 12:15 p.m. MT.

Thompson will discuss the importance of creating a balance between information security and information availability. He will also discuss how the industry needs to evolve to help customers build a resilient infrastructure, one that remains up, running and growing, no matter what happens.
