Symphony GOLD Reports Four Consecutive Record Quarters of Growth in United States

Doubles Size of U.S. Operations in Response to Continued Demand for Unified Merchandising, Category Management, Supply Chain and Retail Operations Solutions

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Apr 26, 2016) - Symphony GOLD, provider of the GOLD unified software platform for retail, today announced four consecutive quarters of record growth for its North American operations and a three-fold increase in business deals compared to the previous 12 months. In response to this strong market demand for their unified Merchandising, Category Management, Supply Chain and Retail Operations solutions, Symphony GOLD has doubled its U.S. staff.

In keeping with its position in the U.S. market, Symphony GOLD will be a platinum sponsor for the upcoming Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference, May 17-19, 2016, in Phoenix, AZ. In addition, Symphony GOLD is proud to sponsor Disney Parks & Resorts Information Technology's VP of Operations and Fulfillment, as a speaker at the upcoming conference.

New deals: Over the past four quarters, in addition to signing agreements with current customers to upgrade or enhance their portfolios, Symphony GOLD has welcomed a number of new clients including Dollar Express, Longo's Brothers Fruit Markets, Kum & Go and other industry leading grocers. Having signed a record number of agreements in the first quarter, Symphony GOLD anticipates great success for the remainder of 2016.

Product innovation: Symphony GOLD is experiencing strong demand for its recently launched, next-generation, cloud-based i2e Category Management Suite. Earlier this month, the organization further expanded its Merchandising and Category Management capabilities with the acquisition of Fifth Dimension to help retailers and CPG manufacturers optimize space and assortment planning decisions through the use of advanced store planning, 3D store and product visualization solutions.

Personnel: In order to service both existing and new customers, Symphony GOLD has doubled its U.S. head count, further strengthening its sales, business development, channel operations, and solutions consulting teams. In addition the organization boosted its global marketing capabilities by hiring a new Vice President of Marketing. Tony Wood recently joined Symphony GOLD from IBM where he was Global Portfolio Marketing Lead for Omni-Channel Merchandising.
