Symphony Services Selected Into the Amazon Web Services Solution Providers Program

Inclusion in the Program Further Strengthens Symphony's Cloud Engineering Services and Extends the Offering to Thousands of Potential Customers

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - May 17, 2011) - Symphony Services today announced it has been selected to join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solution Providers Program. Symphony's inclusion in the program positions Symphony among a select group of organizations that deliver solutions and consulting services on the AWS infrastructure platform. With official acceptance into the program, and inclusion in the AWS Solutions Provider Directory, Symphony's Cloud Engineering Services offering is strongly positioned among thousands of potential software company customers, all of whom are under enormous pressure to migrate their products to the cloud.

The AWS Solution Providers Program serves a growing number of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Systems Integrators that offer a rich set of solutions and consulting services on AWS. The program is designed to help companies expand the capabilities and marketing potential of their solutions and services through exposure by AWS and by building relationships with fellow providers in the AWS ecosystem.

"Inclusion in the AWS Solution Provider community marks an important milestone for our comprehensive cloud engineering services, given the significant awareness the program generates among software companies eager to expand to the cloud," said Keith Higgins, Chief Marketing Officer, Symphony Services. "Our cloud engineering services have already generated enormous enthusiasm among our software company clients, and we're excited about working in cooperation with AWS to bring increasingly innovative cloud offerings to market."

Symphony delivers a comprehensive array of cloud enablement services for software companies and has developed a unique approach to ensure clients maximize their investment in cloud migration. Symphony's Cloud Engineering Services spans the complete continuum of the cloud migration process, from initial business strategy and product roadmap consulting to engineering and management services.

Symphony has also developed and customized its Environment Provisioning and Management System (SymEPMS) to integrate with AWS to offer a unified interface and management dashboard to clients, thus improving control and visibility of their cloud. Symphony has a wide ranging AWS experience that includes -- application hosting; HPC; e-commerce; content delivery and moving development and testing environments to cloud.

The combination of robust cloud enablement services from Symphony and the elasticity and subscription pricing model of AWS enable software companies to easily adopt cloud with minimal architectural changes to "test the waters," and then move up the cloud maturity levels towards multi-tenancy while using AWS storage, compute cloud and databases.
