Synensys Selected for 2 Poster Presentations at TeamSTEPPS National Conference

The National Conference Will Be Held June 8-10 in Washington, D.C. and Highlights Techniques, Tools, and New Thinking to Assist Healthcare Professionals in Successfully Implementing and Sustaining TeamSTEPPS

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - May 24, 2016) -  Synensys, a leading healthcare consulting firm headquartered in Peachtree City, Ga., has been selected for two poster presentations at the upcoming TeamSTEPPS National Conference, the company announced today. The event, scheduled for June 8-10 in Washington, D.C., is sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).

The selected poster presentations are:

"Safe Surgery Trainer: An Operating Room Environment High in Psychological Safety Through TeamSTEPPS Tools," presented by Jeff White, Joint Base Langley Patient Safety Program Manager, and Dr. Beverly Thornberg, Air Force Medical Operations Agency Patient Safety Program Manager.

"It's About an 'Attitude' … The 'Can Do Attitude': The Evolution of Collaborative and Comprehensive Change," presented by Mark Smithwick, Altus Air Force Base Patient Safety Program Manager.

More than 500 healthcare industry professionals are expected to attend the TeamSTEPPS National Conference, which will be held at Washington D.C.'s Hyatt Regency. The purpose of the conference is to highlight techniques, tools, and new thinking to assist healthcare professionals in successfully implementing TeamSTEPPS.
