Synergex Helps Raise $9,500.00 for Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness

PlayStation 3 Gaming Packages Sold to Highest Bidders in Conjunction with Q107 Morning Radio

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 20, 2006) - Synergex Corporation (TSX:SYX) ("Synergex"), a leading provider of business solutions, today helped raise $9,500 for the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness (CCAA) through the donation of two PlayStation 3 gaming packages. Both packages were respectively donated and sold through a live auction on radio station Q107, Canada's leading classic rock station, and an online auction via the CCAA website.

Based in Toronto, the charity organization CCAA focuses on aiding in the prevention of child abuse and adult victimization. In support of this cause, Synergex contributed two ultimate holiday gaming packages with the assistance of Sony Computer Entertainment Canada.

Q107's morning show with John Derringer draws more than 400,000 listeners every morning in the Toronto and Greater Toronto Area. Chris Lajeras of Etobicoke donated $6,300 to the CCAA, winning one PlayStation package via Q107's live radio auction. Bruce Maltby of Gravenhurst won the second package through his donation of $3,200 to the CCAA via the charity's online auction. Both PlayStation packages included a 60GB PlayStation 3, a Sony Bravia High Definition LCD Television, an additional SixaxisTM PlayStation 3 wireless controller, as well as several games from Sony and Synergex' other publisher customers.

"It was exciting to witness the interest and bidding frenzy that surrounded the Q107 auction," said Eric So, Vice-President of Corporate Strategy for Synergex Corporation. "The Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness is a wonderful cause that helps Canadians affected by the trauma of abuse, and also informs the public about the life-long affects of abuse. We are thrilled to have such an enthusiastic response from the PlayStation 3 gaming packages to support this worthy cause."
