Synergex Launches Mexican Operation

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 7, 2006) - Synergex Corporation (TSX:SYX) ("Synergex"), a leading provider of business solutions, today announced the launch of its Mexican subsidiary, Synergex de Mexico S.A. de C.V. Synergex de Mexico shall be Synergex' multiplatform, multi-industry entry into the Central American market.

Synergex de Mexico will provide logistics and distribution services to the video game, electronics, household, and office product industries in Central America. Located in greater Mexico City, it also provides a beachhead location from which Synergex can service and build upon its existing Latin American technology customers.

Synergex currently offers global companies a turn-key solution to entering the Canadian retail market with a full range of services ranging from national logistics to product localization in the Province of Quebec.

Synergex is pleased to announce the appointment of several new individuals to its Mexican team who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the video game industry and the Mexican market.

Todd Curtis joins Synergex as a Vice-President of Business Development with over 17 years of progressive management experience in the video and video game entertainment industry. As the former Vice-President of Operations for Atari™, Inc., Todd oversaw the supply chain management and sales support to several retail partners including Best Buy, Gamestop, Target and Wal-Mart® for such titles as Civilization 3, Enter The Matrix™, Driver 2 and Driv3r.

Sean Montgomery joins Synergex as a Vice-President of Business Development. As the former head of North American sales for Square Enix™, Inc. Sean was responsible for maintaining and growing sales of over $100 million annually and oversaw the creation of a new sales team and distribution model after the dissolution of Square EA, a joint venture between Square Enix™ and Electronic Arts™.

Alberto Jacques and Claudia Velazquez, both Mexican nationals, join Synergex as Directors of Business Development with several years experience as buyers for Wal-Mart® and Sam's Club® in Mexico City. Alberto was also involved in the building of, the e-commerce portal for Televisa, the foremost Spanish language media corporation. In addition to having local senior responsibility for retailer satisfaction and service definition, Alberto and Claudia will also be engaged in the new Synergex Calha division in Mexico, which sources, imports, and distributes electronic, household and office products.

Fabian Rincon joins Synergex from Colsein Ltda., a leading technology company in South America with over 20 years experience in the industrial process automation sector and in RFID technology deployment and implementation.

Synergex currently provides exclusive logistics and distribution services in Canada to customers in several industries including third party video game publishers such as Atari™, LucasArts™, Midway™, Namco® Bandai®, Square Enix™ and Eidos™. Synergex also provides logistics services for the Sony PlayStation® including the widely anticipated PlayStation® 3 in Canada.
