MIAMI, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 15, 2005 -- Cigars Around the World (CAW), a wholly owned subsidiary of Synergy Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYBR), plans to open the company's first major retail outlet and cigar club in Miami Lakes, Florida, in July with a grand opening celebration planned for fall of 2005. The Cigars Around the World retail store is expected to feature over 1,000 unique cigars, which should include both brand names, hand made premium cigars as well as Gran Reserve Corp's (GRC's) proprietary brands. Included in the variety is expected to be Montecristo, Cohiba, Romeo y' Julietta, Suarez Gran Reserve, Davidoff, Ashton, Mike Ditka, and Breton labels, among others. The store is also expected to offer premium brands of upscale cigar accessories. Club members should also be able to rent private storage humidors for their personal cigar collection.

Mair Faibish, President of Synergy Brands, adds, "The opening of the club in Florida is an exciting opportunity that will provide an additional revenue stream to already strong Q2 cigar sales."

GRC is expected to relocate all of its warehousing and distribution operations to the new location, thereby creating a consolidation of retail and wholesale storage, which should have a positive effect on overhead expenses. The entire facility is expected to be temperature and humidity controlled to provide its customers with the freshest and best tasting cigars. In addition to its retail products, the facility is expected to boast cigar lockers for individuals to keep their own selections in a hospitable environment. Wireless Internet is also expected to be available for customers to use throughout the entire location. Plans call for special events, such as cigar dinners, cigar rolling demonstrations, factory visits, and the broadcasting of major sports events for those patrons who wish to enjoy their cigars and their sports in an upscale, cigar-friendly environment.

On hand for the Grand Opening is expected to be Bill Rancic, Donald Trump's very first "Apprentice" and the founder of Cigars Around the World. Rancic currently sits on Synergy's Board of directors. CAW also plans to have major premium cigar vendors attend its Grand Opening as well as legends of the Premium cigar business.

Synergy Brands has also seen a positive response from Google's shopping engine since joining the program six months ago. Google online customer referrals have jumped to third place within the company behind Cigar Gold email marketing and Bill Rancic's Cigars Around the World email marketing.
