PLATTEVILLE, CO--(Marketwire - February 05, 2013) - Synergy Resources Corporation (NYSE MKT: SYRG), a U.S. oil and gas exploration and production company focused on the Denver-Julesburg Basin, has hired industry veteran Terry Dewey to oversee the company's production activities.
Craig Rasmuson, Vice President of Operations, said, "Our production capacity continues to increase in the Wattenberg Field. Dewey has more than 30 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. He was previously with Bill Barrett Corp, a leading independent oil and gas company, with operations in the Denver-Julesburg basin. Over the last five years, Dewey has served as Bill Barrett's production foreman, applying his knowledge and expertise with downhole equipment, completion techniques of vertical and horizontal wells, as well as different forms of artificial lift. Prior to Bill Barrett, Dewey served in various capacities with Chevron/Texaco, Tom Brown and Weatherford ALS.
