Syngas International Corp. (OTCBB: SYNI) Moves Forward on Technology Showcase Acquisition

Plastics Facility Purchase Proceeds

EDMONTON, AB -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 18, 2006 -- Syngas International Corp. (OTCBB: SYNI) -- www.syngasinternational.com -- is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors have approved the acquisition of Salmon Arms Plastics Ltd. (SAPL) and conversion of the plant to energy cogeneration. Energy cogeneration will use local wood waste resources to create energy using Syngas' energy technology.

The Company has advanced in excess of $200,000.00 to SAPL for working capital, operations and growth to date.

In the meantime, the Company is contemplating a major expansion of the facility. The expansion would increase the output of the plant by approximately 800%. A schedule for the facility expansion will be looked at in early 2007.

Syngas International Corp. expects the plant to be an ideal way to showcase its alternative energy technologies by providing an in-house facility.

Once the acquisition is closed, Syngas intends to manufacture a small scale PyStR gasification unit on site utilizing waste from the surrounding forestry industry to produce power to supply the plastics factory as well as to sell back to the grid as green energy.

Wilf Ouellette, CEO of Syngas International, stated, "With our own facility we will be able to showcase the technology at its full potential. Unlike a joint venture facility, our clients, potential partners, shareholders and stakeholders will be able to arrange access without going through a cumbersome process to see the technology at work."
