SYSTAT Software Has a New License Plan

Reduces Costs, Paperwork and Delivery Time

SAN JOSE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 25, 2006 -- SYSTAT Software, Inc. (SSI) is launching a new academic licensing program for its widely used statistics and analytical graphics software. SigmaPlot, SigmaStat, SYSTAT, and other titles are now much more accessible for students, faculty, and schools.

"Our software is used by tens of thousands of scientists across North America. We changed our site-license plan to encourage more student use," said Trixi Menhardt, SSI's Channel Manager. "With individual faculty users on all college campuses and in most departments, SSI's software makes an important contribution to American science. We wanted our software to play a larger role in student training."

More than 150,000 scientists worldwide use SSI software. SigmaPlot is the graphing standard used by researchers in all sciences. Under the new plan, department and campus wide licensing is available at very competitive pricing.

Total costs are kept under control in two ways. First, discounts increase rapidly as the number of licenses increases, and second, discounts are cumulative; they are based on the sum of licenses already owned and licenses being purchased.

SSI has selected Academic Distributing, Inc. (ADI) to serve as its exclusive North American distributor for academic sales. All orders are processed and shipped the day they are received. Resellers are offered a full suite of services and support to help them sell SSI software. Interested campus stores and off-campus resellers can call (800) 531-3227 or visit for information.
