T-Mobile Austria Launches Consumer Mobile Email Solution from O3SIS

T-Mobile International Offers Customers Enhanced Mobile Experience by Combining Mobile Mail and Address Book Features

SACRAMENTO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 30, 2007 -- O3SIS Information Technology AG, a leading provider of personal mobile applications and Over-the-Air data synchronization (DS) technology for first tier mobile network operators and internet service providers, today announced that T-Mobile Austria, the Austrian network of the international T-Mobile Group, has launched the O3SIS Mobile Mail platform for its consumer customers.

O3SIS Mail allows consumers to read and respond to emails directly from their handset in real time. With the O3SIS Mail solution, T-Mobile can further enhance their high profile "Web'n'Walk" proposition with personal service options such as automatic email retrieval from an existing POP3/IMAP4 account or from Web-based providers like GMX and Chello, as well as advanced spam filtering and user-configured filters.

"We're extremely proud to be working with T-Mobile," said Dirk Dörre, CEO and CTO at O3SIS. "They understand that mobile email is quickly becoming a highly appreciated service in the consumer space. By offering the O3SIS Address Book along with Mail service, T-Mobile can deliver an enriched mail offering that drives additional revenue streams, differentiates them in a competitive market, increases usability, and enhances their subscribers' overall mobility experience."

The O3SIS products are relying on widely accepted industry standards eliminating the need for proprietary hardware or client software. And with O3SIS' support for integrating Over-the-Air provisioning, T-Mobile customers can instantly enable Mail services through a simple OTA-SMS (Over-the-Air Short Message Service).

About O3SIS Unified Mobile Applications (UMA) platform

O3SIS Mail and Address Book are key components of the company's Unified Mobile Applications (UMA) platform, which provides Over-the-Air data synchronization, a full-featured address book, mobile device backup/restore, and mobile personal information management (PIM) functionality including consumer push e-mail. UMA enables operators to roll out multiple value-added services from a single, high-performance platform, significantly reducing system complexity and maintenance costs.
