Tahitian Black Pearl Sweepstakes -- Three Chances to Win

EL SEGUNDO, CA--(Marketwire - October 16, 2007) - Tahiti Tourisme North America announces a sweepstakes to win one of three handcrafted, one-of-a-kind black pearl jewelry pieces from famed Tahitian designer Tahia Collins.

Shimmering, iridescent, exotic and rare, Tahitian black pearls symbolize the ultimate gift of love and romance. Visitors to can enter to win a beautiful Tahitian pearl piece, each valued at approximately $4,000.

The word 'pearl' in Latin means unique, attesting to the fact that no two pearls are identical. Tahitian cultured pearls, better known as "black pearls," are native to the islands of Tahiti. Harvested in Tahiti's Tuamotu atolls, the cultured pearl spends between one and five years in the oyster shell before being carefully removed.
