Tajiri Resources to Option the OGK Copper, Gold Property, Omineca Division, BC

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 5, 2012) - Tajiri Resources Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TAJ) is pleased to report that it has entered into a Letter of Intent ("LOI") with Messrs. Peter Fox, Don Bragg, Don Mustard, and Barry Price, of Vancouver British Columbia. The letter sets out conditions wherein the Company will acquire an option to earn 100% undivided interest in the OGK Property, Omineca Mining Division, British Columbia. Subject to the terms of the letter and requisite exchange approvals the "Company" may earn 100% interest in the property by undertaking $850,000 in exploration expenditures, issuing 900,000 common shares and making cash payments to the vendors of $75,000 over a four year period.

The OGK property is located approximately 280 kilometers northwest of Prince George BC and is contiguous to the northern boundaries of the Lorraine Copper Project, where a joint venture between Vancouver based Teck Corp. and its Partner are continuing to develop a NI43-101 compliant inferred resource of 28 Mt at 0.45 % Cu and 0.20 g/t Au. The Company plans to evaluate the OGK Property and its potential for alkalic porphyry style Copper, Gold mineralization.

Exploration will begin immediately and continue through the remainder of the season in order to follow up on regional and localized geophysical results that coincide with geochemical anomalies found within the project area.
