Takedown Entertainment Signs Agreement With Freedom Fights MMA

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - May 31, 2011) - Takedown Entertainment Inc. (www.takedownentertainment.com) (OTCBB: TKDN), an authority in the business of mixed martial arts, is pleased to announce that it has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire worldwide distribution rights to past and future MMA fights with Freedom Fights MMA, plus certain rights to the brand and sponsorship representation.

Freedom Fights MMA is a pan-Canadian promotion with 15 years' experience in producing mixed martial arts events. Owner Pete Rodley has put on an MMA show in almost every province in the country, co-promoting and assisting in several ground breaking events as far back as the IFC in 1996. In 1999, he co-created Canada's first national MMA promotion brand, the Universal Combat Challenge (UCC). The UCC introduced an extensive list of MMA athletes to North American audiences which now reads like a "who's who" of storied icons in the sport: David Loiseau, Jon Fitch, Sean Sherk, Wagnney Fabiano, Jens Pulver and the current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight Champion of the World, Georges St. Pierre.

"I've been doing shows coast to coast for well over a decade," said Freedom Fights owner Pete Rodley. "It's a beautiful thing to finally find a company with the same vision, the same energy, and the same passion about the sport of MMA as I have. Takedown is exactly the partner that Freedom Fights needs to show MMA fans the great fights we're putting on in Ontario and Quebec and everywhere else in this country."
