Talent Board Announces HireVue as Candidate Experience Awards Supporter

Team Acceleration Technology Leader Backs Talent Board's Awards and Benchmarking Program at Global Platinum Level

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 21, 2015) -  Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the promotion and data benchmark research of a quality candidate experience, today announced that Team Acceleration technology leader, HireVue, will support the Candidate Experience Awards (CandE Awards) at the Global Platinum level for the fifth consecutive year.

The largest study of its kind, the CandE Awards is an annual benchmarking and recognition program that works to assess candidate experiences throughout the recruiting process. Launched in 2011, the program has grown significantly since its inception, with participating companies sending surveys to more than 100,000 employment candidates each year. Started in North America, the CandE Awards now includes programs in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions.

Mark Newman, founder and CEO of HireVue, commented, "HireVue is built on the premise that candidates are more than just words on paper; they're voices, personalities and experiences, and should be given an opportunity to share their stories with organizations who want to build teams of incredible people. We're proud to support the CandE Awards because of the recognition they give to companies who are providing an incredibly personal and differentiated candidate experience leveraging the power of digital, video and mobile technologies. The CandE Awards research clearly demonstrates organizations with an emphasis on providing a positive candidate experience have the ability to carve out and maintain a competitive advantage, which is invaluable in today's job market."

"We've been working with HireVue since our first CandE Awards program, learning about common recruiting practices along with job seeker behaviors and expectations," said Gerry Crispin, Talent Board co-founder and principal and co-founder of CareerXroads. "As our long-standing partner, HireVue has helped the CandE Awards advocate for an industry-wide change, prompting for improved talent acquisition technologies and strategies that pay more attention to the candidates. We are thrilled to continue working with HireVue as we continue to expand our programs around the world."

The winners of the 2015 North American CandE Awards program will be announced on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at a special awards banquet. This event will take place during Second Annual Candidate Experience Symposium being held Wednesday, September 30 - Friday, October 2, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas.
