Talent Board Announces Monster Worldwide as Global Platinum Sponsor of Candidate Experience Awards

Company Returns to Support Program for Third Consecutive Year

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 30, 2013) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, today announced that Monster.com, the worldwide leader in successfully connecting people to job opportunities and the flagship brand of Monster Worldwide, Inc., will support the Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards for the third consecutive year.

Founded in 2011, the CandE Awards were developed to promote the importance among employers to provide an outstanding candidate experience to all candidates who apply for their positions. In addition to recognizing those companies that offer a stellar candidate experience, the CandE Awards also help employers to benchmark their candidate experience against those of their peers, while gaining feedback on what they can do to improve their hiring processes to provide a more positive and rewarding experience. Now in its third year, the CandE Awards continues to bring greater awareness of the benefits of a positive candidate experience that will lead to an enhanced employer brand and attract the best talent.

"As Monster successfully connects millions of people with job opportunities, we recognize the need for greater transparency in the recruiting process," said Eric Winegardner, Vice President of Client Adoption, Monster Worldwide. "We support the Talent Board in their mission to educate employers on ways to improve the candidate experience and are proud to sponsor the CandE Awards once again, helping to recognize the companies that are getting it right."

"As Monster provides a wealth of resources that help candidates find the right positions and for employers to find the right talent, it is clear that the company understands the factors that lead to a positive candidate experience and what employers can do to provide a more transparent and rewarding recruiting experience," said Gerry Crispin, industry expert, Talent Board co-founder and Chief Navigator of CareerXroads. "Monster's support has been a crucial part in the development and ongoing growth of the CandE Awards, and we are delighted to welcome the company back as a global platinum sponsor for our 2013 program."

The 2013 CandE Awards program includes three rounds that evaluate recruitment practices throughout the entire hiring process. Round One, now closed, captures company recruitment practices related to the overall candidate experience through a multi-dimensional survey. All nominated companies that completed the first round will receive complimentary Employer Benchmark data, illustrating how their candidate experience measures against the aggregate of all participants.

This year's CandE Awards have collected more than 46,000 candidate survey responses from a random sampling of qualifying companies' 2013 candidates during Round Two. Companies that meet criteria for both survey rounds will be recognized as CandE Award winners, and high-scoring companies face the final round which determines areas of distinction. With Distinction honorees will be celebrated, along with all CandE Award winners, at this year's HR Technology Conference and Expo in Las Vegas this October.
