Talent Board Announces Randstad Sourceright as Gold Sponsor of Candidate Experience Awards

Global Talent Leader to Support North American Candidate Experience Awards for Second Year

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 1, 2013) -  The Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, today announced that Randstad Sourceright, a global talent leader, will support the Candidate Experience Awards (CandE Awards) as a Gold Sponsor for the second consecutive year.

"Organizations that provide a transparent and rewarding candidate experience have a critical differentiator and will be more successful in attracting, hiring and retaining high-performing talent," said Rebecca Callahan, Randstad Sourceright's president of Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO). "Randstad Sourceright strives to help our clients achieve success throughout the recruiting process, and we understand how each stage of talent acquisition contributes to the candidate's opinion about the company's employment and overall brand. We are honored to support the CandE Awards for the second year in a row and look forward to working together once again to enhance the value of providing a positive experience for all candidates."

"As demonstrated by its commitment to helping organizations identify and hire right-fit talent to meet their business objectives, Randstad Sourceright shares our goal of elevating the candidate experience and its importance in developing an effective talent acquisition strategy," said Gerry Crispin, principal and chief navigator of CareerXroads and Talent Board member. "The company played a key role in the great success of last year's CandE Awards, and their decision to return as a sponsor highlights that the industry continues to value the insight and recognition the CandE Awards provide. It is a pleasure to welcome Randstad Sourceright back again as a gold sponsor for the 2013 program."

Since its inception in 2011, the CandE Awards have served to elevate the importance a positive candidate experience plays in attracting top candidates, by recognizing those organizations that strive to provide a positive, transparent applicant process. The results of the 2012 CandE Awards established that more than half of candidates surveyed are likely or very likely to tell their inner circle of friends about their experience, whether it is positive (73.5 percent) or negative (60.7 percent), highlighting how candidate experience can create promoters or detractors. Now in its third year, the 2013 CandE Awards intend to bring even greater awareness to the benefits of creating employer brand promoters by recognizing companies that treat candidates with respect, while offering improved tools for companies to benchmark candidate experience against their peers.

The CandE Awards program consists of three survey rounds. Round one, which is now closed, included a multi-dimensional survey designed to capture and evaluate a company's recruitment processes and practices that impact the candidate experience. Companies that completed the first round submission process will receive a complimentary Employer Benchmark Report, and those that meet the standard for candidate experience are invited to participate in round two of the competition, the candidate survey. Round two takes the survey to the candidate through random sampling of the company's 2013 candidates. Companies that meet criteria for both rounds one and two will be awarded a "CandE 2013 Award Winner" designation stamp. High scoring companies will be advanced to the final round, where they will be interviewed by the CandE judging panel to determine areas of distinction.
