The Talent Board Announces Stellar Lineup of Judges for The Candidate Experience Awards and Extends Submission Deadline to July 15, 2011

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 29, 2011) - The Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, today announced the panel of independent judges who will select the winners of the First Annual North American Candidate Experience Awards (C&E Awards). The judges include: Tom Becker, vice president of recruiting for Experis; China Gorman, human capital management expert; Libby Sartain, former chief human resources officer at Yahoo! Inc. and Southwest Airlines; Mark Stelzner, founder of Inflexion Advisors; and Sarah White, human resources and talent management technology strategist.

Due to overwhelming response, the Talent Board is extending the submission deadline for the first phase of the award process to July 15, 2011. Designed for North American companies, the Candidate Experience Awards competition consists of three survey rounds that are designed to evaluate and recognize organizations that produce outstanding candidate experiences. Round one comprises a 40-question survey that is designed to capture and evaluate the nominated company's recruitment processes and practices driving the candidate experience. Each applicant will receive specific survey feedback on how their candidate experience compares to the other applicants. There is no fee to participate in the survey. All Candidate Experience winners will be celebrated at a banquet ceremony held during the 2011 HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas.

"We are thrilled to welcome this panel of credible, distinguished judges who were selected based on their experience and their ability to represent different generations. With the number of surveys and positive responses we have received already, the benchmark data that participants will receive as a by-product of the survey will be extremely useful for companies looking to improve their candidate experience. Now, it will be up to our esteemed judges to determine who will receive 'C&E with Distinction' honors," stated Gerry Crispin, Principal and Chief Navigator at CareerXroads and Board Member of the Talent Board.

"After working with tens of thousands of the underemployed and unemployed over the past few years, one of the most common questions posed is, 'Why has my application fallen into a black hole?'. The Candidate Experience Awards provide an opportunity to reward those who ensure that candidates are treated with the respect and transparency they rightfully deserve. I am honored to be part of a program that heralds those organizations who recognize that there is value to be gained by true engagement with both passive and active candidates," commented Mark Stelzner, founder of Inflexion Advisors and JobAngels.
