Talent Board Welcomes Glassdoor as Gold Sponsor of 2013 Candidate Experience Awards

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 23, 2013) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization dedicated to the elevation and promotion of quality candidate experience, today announced that Glassdoor, a jobs and career community that is leading the way in workplace transparency, will serve as a gold sponsor of the North American 2013 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards

Glassdoor helps people find jobs they love and helps employers recruit top talent. Job seekers visiting Glassdoor get access to millions of job listings as well as 4.5 million employee-provided company reviews, salary reports, interview reviews and office photos. Armed with such detailed information, job seekers gain the insight they need to make more informed career decisions. In addition, Glassdoor works with employers to support their employment branding and recruiting efforts. With Glassdoor's Talent Solutions, employers can share their story about what makes them a best place to work and can put their jobs in front of top talent.

Sponsoring the CandE Awards and benchmarking program for the first time, Glassdoor shows its commitment to helping Talent Board promote the benefits of providing even greater transparency and visibility to candidates throughout the recruitment process.

"At Glassdoor, we believe greater transparency helps businesses grow stronger teams. Employers who are clear about an applicant's standing throughout the interview process will likely find more engaged candidates, followed by more satisfied employees -- given the clear expectations set along the way," said Steve Roop, general manager and SVP at Glassdoor. "We are pleased to sponsor the CandE Awards in order to help shed more light on the importance of a quality hiring experience."

The 2013 CandE Awards program includes three survey rounds designed to evaluate recruitment practices throughout the entire hiring process. Round One, now closed, captures company recruitment practices related to the overall candidate experience through a multi-dimensional survey. All nominated companies that completed the first round will receive complimentary Employer Benchmark data, illustrating how their candidate experience measures against the aggregate of all participants.

It is projected that this year's CandE Awards program will collect more than 45,000 survey responses from a random sampling of qualifying companies' 2013 candidates during Round Two. Companies that meet criteria for both survey rounds will be recognized as CandE Award winners, and high-scoring companies will face the final round which determines areas of distinction. With Distinction honorees will be celebrated, along with all CandE Award winners, at this year's HR Technology Conference and Expo in Las Vegas this October.

"As more organizations recognize the benefits of providing a candidate experience that keeps their candidates well informed and updated throughout the application process, many are actively seeking the tools and strategies that can help them deliver a stellar candidate experience," said Ed Newman, co-founder of Talent Board and vice president of Strategy at iMomentous. "By supporting the 2013 CandE Awards, Glassdoor shares our commitment to providing employers with the information they need to enhance candidate experience and employment brand, and to honoring the organizations that deliver an informed and accessible experience for job seekers and recognize their investment in the talent acquisition process."
