Talison Lithium Appoints New Director


PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA--(Marketwire - June 8, 2012) - Talison Lithium Limited (TSX:TLH) ("Talison" or the "Company"), announced today that

The Board has appointed Mr Chris Corbett as a Non-Executive Director replacing Mr Mason Hills who retires due to relocation overseas.

Mr. Corbett joined Resource Capital Funds in 2008 after working as a financial analyst and commercial manager within the business development department at Wesfarmers Limited. Prior to this he worked as an engineer for Byrnecut Mining Pty Ltd where he gained technical experience in shaft sinking and equipping and underground mine development and production. Mr. Corbett has a B.Eng. (Mech, First Class Honors) and a B.Comm. from the University of Western Australia, Grad. Dip. in Mining from the Western Australian School of Mines and a Grad. Dip. in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA.

Concurrent with Mr Corbetts's appointment, Mr Hills retires from the Talison Board, following service as a Non-Executive Director since October 2009. Mr Hills is a Partner of RCF and is relocating to Denver, Colorado (USA), to continue his role within the RCF organisation. The Board acknowledges and thanks Mr Hills for his commitment and valuable input during his tenure with Talison.
