Talon Metals Corrects Typographical Error in Interim Financial Statements

ROAD TOWN, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS--(Marketwired - November 24, 2016) - Talon Metals Corp., ("Talon" or the "Company") (TSX: TLO) has re-filed its Condensed Consolidated Interim Financial Statements for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2016 and 2015 which were filed on SEDAR on November 14, 2016 to correct a typographical error on the Condensed Consolidated Interim Statement of Changes in Equity.

The date at the bottom of the Condensed Consolidated Interim Statement of Changes in Equity for the nine months ended September 30, 2016 incorrectly read "June 30, 2016" when it should have read "September 30, 2016". Other than the date change, there were no other changes made to the Condensed Consolidated Interim Financial Statements.

The Company's corrected Condensed Consolidated Interim Financial Statements for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2016 and 2015 have been filed on SEDAR and are available at www.sedar.com.
