TAP America Partners With Josh Miller to Create Film About Buying American

Film Chronicles One Man's Journey as He Pledges to Only Live Off of American-Made Products & Services for 30 Days

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - Feb 15, 2012) - TAP America, a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening America and its citizens, today announced its participation in "Made in the USA: The 30 Day Journey" a film by Josh Miller. This film, in partnership with TAP America, will chronicle Josh Miller for a 30-day period as he commits to live off of American-made products and the difficulties and triumphs he encounters along the way. Together the two organizations seek to help viewers discover the issues that are facing our ailing economy, and examine differing perspectives about the issue, in hopes of finding tangible solutions.

"We're Willing to Die for Our Country, But Are We Willing to Buy For It?"

"Josh's film is of critical importance to both the businesses and citizens of America," said Richard L. Tso, executive director of TAP America. "We believe that change needs to begin with the people of America, that each American needs to take the initiative by making an effort to purchase products made domestically. We at TAPamerica.org recognize that it is not always easy to find products that are truly made in the U.S.A. and have created an online directory that lists companies committed to manufacturing American products, keeping jobs on our soil."

As part of this partnership, Josh Miller will interview TAP America Executive Director Richard L. Tso and Founder Mark Bloome about the value of purchasing products made in America. Their goal is to educate and encourage both consumers and businesses to begin thinking about the economic impact of how they are spending their dollars. Josh is also working closely with producers Ron Newcomb, Justin Moe and Veronica Lewis as the four of them are turning a simple idea into reality with the production of "Made in the USA: The 30 Day Journey."

A Film To Change The Minds & Hearts of America

"I am delighted to be working on this film and look forward to presenting well-balanced perspectives about this issue as I travel across the United States interviewing business owners, historians, politicians, economists and American consumers," said Josh Miller, filmmaker at Made In the USA Films LLC. "Partnering with TAP America gives us the ability to take our issue to the national stage and we look forward to working together to promote the film."

The filming for this project is projected to begin on March 1st, 2012 in Washington, D.C. and cameraman Justin Moe will follow Josh as he travels around the country seeking perspectives from locals and experts in their respected fields.
