In-Venue Technology Drives Increased Fan Revenues for Cleveland Cavaliers

The Tap.in2 platform was used by the Cleveland Cavaliers to encourage Cavs fans to purchase in-seat delivery for food, drinks and alcohol to avoid missing any critical moments of the action while waiting in line during nail-biting, buzzer-beating shots. The Cavs Eats program, used in over 22 Cavs games, was made available to premier and club seat holders throughout the regular season, Playoffs and NBA Finals. In addition, fans were pleased that orders were delivered to their seats in under 6 minutes.

Accessing Tap.in2's platform through their smartphones, fans can purchase concessions, merchandise and VIP experiences to be delivered directly to their seats. For teams and venues, Tap.in2 offers an extension for affiliate programs, additional sponsorship revenue streams, and valuable real-time data on fan spending and in-venue engagement.

  • 25% fan adoption rate
