Tara Gold Appoints Jeffrey W. Pritchard to the Board of Directors

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - May 5, 2008) - Tara Gold Resources Corp. (PINKSHEETS: TRGD) (FRANKFURT: T8N) is pleased to announce that Jeffrey W. Pritchard has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Tara Gold Resources Corp. and Tara Minerals Corp. Jeffrey is a seasoned marketing/public relations professional.
