Taray, Inc. Appoints Bernie Aronson to Board of Directors

CAMPBELL, CA--(Marketwire - August 24, 2009) - Taray, Inc., a supplier of electronic design automation that simplifies the design of FPGA-based systems, today announced it has made a key addition to its board of directors with the appointment of Bernie Aronson, an industry veteran in semiconductors and electronic design automation.

Mr. Aronson is a highly respected senior executive with a distinguished 40-plus year career in semiconductors and electronic design automation. He brings expertise in a broad range of business issues including corporate business development and strategic guidance.

Prior to joining Taray's board of directors, Mr. Aronson was CEO of Kilopass Technology, a provider of embedded nonvolatile memory intellectual property. Aronson was formerly CEO and President at Synplicity Inc. which he took public in 2000. Aronson was the senior VP of the Epic Technology Group at Synopsys after it was acquired by Synopsys in 1997. He was the president of Epic Design Technology and took Epic public in 1994. Aronson was also the founder & President of Pico Design, a design services company which was sold to Motorola and also was Executive VP at Zoran Corp.

Aronson received his BEE from SUNY and serves on the boards of Gradient Design Automation and eASIC.
