Tarsis Announces Cabin Lake Staking

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 5, 2008) - Tarsis Capital Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TCC) ("Tarsis") is pleased to announce that it has increased the size of its 100% owned Cabin Lake property, located in southern Yukon from 19 claims to 93 claims (approximately 1,943 hectares). The property is located 15 kilometres east of the MOR Volcanogenic Hosted Massive Sulphide prospect.

The staking was carried out to cover two strong, near-surface VTEM anomalies identified from an airborne survey carried out in 2007. Both anomalies are approximately 600 metres in length and occur within a part of the property that has poor exposure and subsequently has only been cursorily explored without systematic soil geochemical surveys, prospecting or mapping. The southernmost of the two anomalies is associated with a moderate magnetic anomaly, which suggests the presence of magnetite or pyrrhotite.

Condor Consulting Ltd. of Colorado has been engaged to interpret the results of the airborne VTEM survey and better define the targets prior to ground-truthing. Tarsis intends to conduct early stage exploration on the property shortly, which will include focused prospecting, mapping and soil geochemical sampling in the vicinity of the VTEM anomalies.

Tarsis is a junior exploration company following the prospect generator business model, with six mineral properties in Yukon, Canada and one in Mexico. The Company has two key properties, Goz Creek and MOR, which it is exploring itself while seeking joint venture partners for its other properties.

The Company currently has 11,767,970 shares issued and outstanding.
