Tatum Appoints Sonya Stone as Client Service Partner for Mid-Atlantic Practice

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Mar 19, 2015) - Tatum, a Randstad company and leading professional and interim services firm offering hands-on strategic, financial and technology solutions that measurably improve business performance, today announced that Sonya Stone has joined the company as client service partner for its Mid-Atlantic Practice. In this capacity, she will be responsible for business development and oversight of client engagements to ensure delivery of superior client service and that clients in the Mid-Atlantic region connect with the executive-level talent they need to lead their organizations forward.

The appointment marks a return to Tatum for Stone, who previously served five years as a Tatum chief financial officer (CFO) partner and two years as associate managing partner in the Mid-Atlantic Practice.

In addition to her experience with Tatum, Stone has built a successful career, serving in both senior leadership and client-facing roles for professional and financial services companies and nonprofit organizations. This includes holding the position of director, Consulting & Business Advisory Group at Raffa, where she led the consulting division. She also served as director of Finance at The Heritage Foundation, responsible for all facets of Finance and Accounting for the public policy institute. An entrepreneur at heart, Stone started her first successful business during the 1990s, a CPA and CEO advisory firm. Earlier in her career, she served as CFO and financial and operations principal for Mason Investment Advisory Services, managing all back-office operations, regulatory compliance, finance and accounting functions. Stone is an alumnus of Arthur Anderson, where she started her career as an auditor, and enjoys an extensive and productive network in the Mid-Atlantic.

In addition to her professional experience, Stone volunteers regularly and has worked with over 75 corporate and nonprofit boards, including serving as a board member and treasurer for The Arc of Northern Virginia and Jill's House, organizations dedicated to celebrating children and adults with special needs and providing relief to their families. A Virginia native, Stone holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from George Mason University, and she is a certified public accountant and registered investment advisor.
