OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan. 21, 2014) -
Did you know?
You no longer need to wait for a new web access code to file your T4s, T5s, or other information returns electronically with the Canada Revenue Agency. The code you used to file your 2012 information return is the same code you'll use to file your 2013 and future-year returns.
More and more businesses file their information returns and slips electronically:
- In 2013, 50% of returns were filed electronically, compared to 41% in 2012.
- In 2013, 92% of slips were filed electronically, compared to 88% in 2012.
Forgot your web access code?
Simply retrieve it online at www.cra.gc.ca/webaccesscode.
If you're an existing filer, to retrieve your web access code, you'll need to give the following information:
- account number;
- return type; and
- a financial field relating to the last original previous-year return.
We enhanced the online web access code application. If you're a first-time filer you can get your first web access code online by giving the following information:
- account number (trust account number, business number, or non-resident account number); and
- date of registration.
