TBA Global Appoints David Kahn to EVP Sales, Destination Management

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 9, 2008) - Leading event and destination management company TBA Global has expanded its highly awarded Destination Management team with the appointment of industry veteran David Kahn as Executive Vice President of Destination Management Sales. Kahn brings over 30 years of experience in the event and hospitality industry where he executed national programs for Fortune 500 companies. In his new role at TBA Global, Kahn will lead sales and business development for TBA's 18 offices covering 22 North American destination markets. Kahn had previously worked for PGI for 7 years, prior to their acquisition by TBA Global. Afterwards, he founded a Denver-based communications agency that provided consultation, development and planning services to hospitality and event marketing companies.

He also held strategic sales and marketing positions with Ritz Carlton Hotels and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. While at Ritz Carlton, his team was responsible for winning the coveted Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
