DUBLIN, IRELAND--(Marketwire - May 6, 2011) - TBS International plc (NASDAQ: TBSI) announced today that it will release its results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2011 on Monday, May 9, 2011.

On Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. EDT, the company's management will host a conference call to discuss the results.
