TC PipeLines, LP Completes Acquisition of Remaining 30 Percent Interest in GTN


HOUSTON, TEXAS--(Marketwired - April 1, 2015) - TC PipeLines, LP (NYSE:TCP) (the Partnership) today announced the closing of its previously announced acquisition of the remaining 30 percent interest in Gas Transmission Northwest LLC (GTN) from TransCanada Corporation. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to Partnership cash flows and earnings.

TC PipeLines, LP is a Delaware master limited partnership with interests in six federally regulated U.S. interstate natural gas pipelines which serve markets in the Western and Midwestern United States.
