Team Red, White & Blue and Always Endeavor, LLC Announce Partnership

Always Endeavor's First Competition to Support Team Red, White & Blue Is the Northern California Endeavor Team Challenge on September 6-8, 2013

ANN ARBOR, MI--(Marketwired - June 05, 2013) -  Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supporting U.S. veterans, is proud to announce a partnership with Always Endeavor, LLC, (Endeavor) organizers of the Endeavor Team Challenge. Endeavor will donate a significant portion of its proceeds to Team RWB, and is encouraging its competitors to raise money for Team RWB while competing in the Endeavor Team Challenge.

"The foundation of our organizations are aligned in our commitment to honoring and supporting our military heroes," says Mike Erwin, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Team RWB. "We value Endeavor's mission to create events that push individuals well beyond their perceived mental and physical limitations."

"Both of our organizations share a common mindset when it comes to fitness and physical activity," explains Endeavor CEO, Kent Keirsey. "We both feel that there is something powerfully cathartic about physical activity and overcoming physical challenges."

Their first event, The Northern California Endeavor Team Challenge, will take place September 6-8, 2013, in Bear Valley, California, an area of the Sierra Mountains with some of the most beautiful and untamed wilderness in America. The event will last over 30 hours and cover more than 40 miles of terrain, during which competitors must complete two obstacle courses and negotiate mountaineering, canoeing, orienteering, and survival tasks. In addition, at an undisclosed point on the course, competitors will endure a physical challenge specially designed by a CrossFit Games Champion. "It is designed to be a monumental test of fitness," explains Keirsey.

Endeavor was founded by two Army veterans. They decided to partner with Team Red, White, & Blue because, "they fill an important gap for the veteran community. They get veterans moving again. They get them focused on their next accomplishment -- not stuck in the past. It's a simple idea, but it's got grassroots support, it's well run, and it works."

Team Red, White & Blue's mission is to enrich the lives of America's veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity. Over 10,000 veterans and supporters in 36 states have participated in the program and events they sponsor. Their supporters are often spotted "wearing the eagle," the organization's red, white, and blue t-shirt with an eagle logo on it, at events around the country. Keirsey expects to see a few eagles at the Northern California Endeavor Team Challenge.
