TeamViewer Recognized as the Market Share Leader in the Clientless Remote Support Sector

IDC Has Ranked TeamViewer as #1 in Market Share Worldwide in the Clientless Remote Support Software Market

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwired - Nov 11, 2015) -  TeamViewer® today announced that its eponymous product, TeamViewer, has been recognized as the market share leader for Clientless Remote Support by leading analyst firm IDC. The results were published in the IDC Worldwide Clientless Remote Support Software Market Shares, 2014: Top 6 Market Share Leaders report, in September 2015. TeamViewer holds the highest market share in comparison to the other remote support vendors with a 22.7% market share for 2014, representing a 6.2% lead over the next vendor.

This is the first time TeamViewer has been included in the market share report in this category with the analysts recognizing the company's significant growth. According to the IDC report: " In 2013, TeamViewer was represented in the "other" category... solutions that have previously been marked as "second tier" are beginning to break into "first tier" status, with TeamViewer being the best example of this."
