Teasdale Quality Foods Saves Big With ACOM's Document Management Solution for Sage MAS

LONG BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - February 8, 2011) - ACOM Solutions, Inc., creator of EZContentManager(EZCM) featuring one-click document management integration with Sage MAS, announced that its capabilities are profiled in a new case study covering the implementation at Teasdale Quality Foods.

The motto of Teasdale is "Simply the Best," but this did not reflect how the company processed orders and invoices. Teasdale needed a way to eliminate misfiling, get financials to auditors more quickly, and end the costly storage of paper documents.

Alfred Tinoco, Director of IT, describes how Teasdale chose EZCM: "When our executive leadership said they wanted to go paperless, our MAS consultant recommended ACOM. Other vendors didn't offer workflow or batch scanning for MAS200, and their technology wasn't as convincing. We really like ACOM because of their one-click integration with MAS."

Tinoco goes on to say, "A lot of our users have limited computer skills, and EZCM is really user-friendly. They don't have to go into different windows to file an item and it's easy to create a new workflow process. The system didn't even require any training by ACOM. Now, when an invoice is scanned, EZCM's optical character recognition automatically extracts the invoice number and dollar amount. It matches that with data in MAS200 via database lookup; all related documentation is associated with the accounting record. The invoice is then automatically sent by email to the CFO for approval, payment, or follow-up.

Teasdale's implementation of the EZCM accounts payable automation solution was so successful that order entries and accounts receivable were also automated. Tinoco is now setting his sights on human resources: "My goal is to have HR scanning all employee documents and routing them automatically to an online folder for each employee, and I believe EZCM is the right solution for that."
