Tech Council of Maryland CEO Renee Winsky Steps Down

ROCKVILLE, MD--(Marketwire - Dec 16, 2011) - The Tech Council of Maryland, Maryland's largest technology and biotechnology association with nearly 500 members employing more than 250,000 in the region, announced today the resignation of CEO Renée Winsky. TCM will commence a comprehensive search for a new CEO in January 2012, and current TCM chairman, Larry Letow, will serve as CEO on an interim basis while the organization searches for new leadership.

"After working the past two plus years for TCM, Renée has decided that advocacy for life sciences, technology, entrepreneurship and local government are areas of interest that she would like to pursue in a more in-depth manner," said Letow. "We are sorry to see Renee leave TCM, and appreciate her numerous contributions to the organization and Maryland's vibrant technology community during her tenure."
