Richardson brings more than 25 years' experience in executive and C-level roles at leading consumer and mobile brands including AOL, Apple, AVG, Tivo and T-Mobile, where he drove organizational and operational transformations by building high-performing teams and delivering on key business metrics.
Clent's appointment comes at a time of dramatically accelerated growth in Urban Airship's push messaging volume, and follows on the heels of the company's first study that shows push messaging can double both user retention and engagement for mobile apps.
Clent spent more than five years with Apple, reporting to the co-founder and CEO as vice president of worldwide developer relations and worldwide solutions marketing, where he established and strengthened developer and customer relationships, as well as managed global strategic relationships with Adobe, AOL, IBM, Microsoft, Motorola, Sun, and other industry leaders for Apple worldwide.
