The Technology Already Exists at Coates International, Ltd. to Dramatically Reduce the Production of Harmful Emissions That Are Released Into Our Atmosphere and There Is New Technology Invented at Coates That Will Extract Existing Pollution Out of the Atmosphere With a Potential to Filter 2,600,000,000 Cubic Feet per Minute of Ground Level Air if Applied in Just One City Such as Beijing, China

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ--(Marketwired - Jan 7, 2016) - Coates International, Ltd. (OTC PINK: COTE) (the "Company") has the technology to reduce harmful emissions that are emitted into our atmosphere; particulates from diesel engines and heavy trucks. The Coates CSRV retrofit dual fuel retrofit systems would reduce these emissions dramatically to a safe level and now new technology at Coates will extract already existing harmful emissions from our atmosphere at ground level in densely populated, large cities. If this affordable technology is widely adopted, during peak traffic times, it is realistic to expect that as much as approximately 2,600,000,000 cubic feet per minute of air could be cleaned.

Coates International, Ltd. President and CEO, Mr. George J. Coates, comments: "This new idea has been under consideration for some time. It is a novel way to clean up the world's atmosphere and extract existing harmful emissions. It is relatively simple to use and install and can be brought to the market at an affordable price.

The circumference of our planet is approximately 25,000 miles. It is rotating a little over 1,000 miles per hour and traveling through space at a speed of 70,000 miles per hour. Our atmosphere is only 5 miles high. This is only a very thin layer of air that keeps us alive. Airplanes must be pressurized as the oxygen is insufficient for passengers to survive at cruising altitudes of approximately 32,000 feet.

Our atmosphere on earth is very fragile. We lose a small amount of our atmosphere into space continuously and if we don't act to preserve it, the consequences are obvious.

We have solutions at Coates International, Ltd. ready to address a number of factors contributing to the damage to the atmosphere."

There can be no assurance that the Company will be successful in any of its endeavors.
