Group Company, to Launch TechTarget Japan;
TechTarget's Third Asian Licensing Partnership Will

Information technology (IT) media company TechTarget announced today
that it has partnered with ITmedia, Inc., a Softbank Group company and
Japan's No. 1 online IT media company, to develop Japanese-language
versions of TechTarget media targeting specific communities of IT
professionals.

The two companies will launch TechTarget Web sites and magazines to
provide original news and features, expert advice, and highly targeted
e-newsletters to Japanese IT professionals and executives. In a later
phase of the partnership, ITmedia editorial staff will enhance each
property with local content about Japanese IT professionals, vendors and
their products.

Founded in 1999, ITmedia, a Softbank Group company, is the No. 1 online
media company serving the Japanese IT market. Its portfolio of Web sites
features the top destinations for Japanese enterprise IT professionals
seeking news, trends, advice, and expert content to help them do their
jobs. Tokyo-based Softbank Group is a leading company in the broadband
services industry with revenue of $4.9 billion (FY 2003). Softbank Group
is an investor in all areas of broadband, including infrastructure,
e-commerce, e-finance, media and marketing. Softbank Group is also the

TechTarget also announced a reciprocal sales agreement with ITmedia,
which will enable each company to sell advertising on the other's media
properties. The relationship will enable existing TechTarget advertisers
to extend their marketing messages to Japanese IT professionals and
executives, and will allow Japanese companies to use TechTarget's highly
efficient media to reach U.S. and Japan-based IT professionals as they
research technology products and vendors.
