EATONTOWN, NJ--(Marketwired - Oct 17, 2016) - TechXtend, a leading value-added provider of safety and security, data center, client computing, disaster recovery and virtualization solutions announced today the addition of David C. Hespe.

Mr. Hespe served as the Commissioner of Education for the State of New Jersey from March 2014 to September 2016, after being appointed by New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie. In this role, Hespe implemented numerous initiatives including placing New Jersey in the forefront as a national leader in the use of technology in the classroom. Prior to this role, he served as President of Burlington County College from September 2012 to March 2014, which had an enrollment of over 10,000 students, and from August 2011 to September 2012, he worked with the New Jersey Department of Education as their Chief of Staff. In this role, Hespe assisted the commissioner in providing leadership across divisions and various projects.
