Teck Cominco Implements Chief Mines Inspector's Recommendations

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 30, 2006) - Teck Cominco (TSX:TCK.A)(TSX:TCK.B)(NYSE:TCK) has reviewed the report of British Columbia's Chief Mines Inspector from the accident of May 17, 2006 at the former Sullivan mine and has already implemented many of the Chief Mines Inspector's recommendations.
