TEDxOrangeCoast Continues to Bring Inspiration and Innovation to Orange County

TEDx Event to Host Local Speakers for "Redefining Relevance" Program October 10 in Costa Mesa, Calif.

COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 11, 2012) - TEDxOrangeCoast, an independently organized TED event designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue and inspire innovation through TED-like experiences at the local level, will host "Redefining Relevance" at Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa, Calif., on Oct. 10, 2012. The all-day event will present 25 carefully selected speakers and will serve as a platform for inspired conversation and innovative ideas.

"We launched TEDxOrangeCoast to foster innovation and inspire creative energy in Orange County," says Mojdeh Eskandari, organizer and producer of TEDxOrangeCoast. "The TED organization is renowned for sparking conversation, spreading new insight and delivering groundbreaking ideas, so TEDx is the perfect platform for organizing this gathering of local innovators, forward thinkers and game-changing entrepreneurs."

The inaugural TEDxOrangeCoast event, "Innovation Without Borders," took place in May 2011 and featured a day of exploration that went beyond traditional thinking. More than 25 high-caliber speakers and 1,200 guests discussed creative ways in which boundaries are pushed aside and overcome. Organizers expect 1,500 - 1,800 attendees at this year's event.

TEDxOrangeCoast is open to the public; however, those interested in attending "Redefining Relevance" must register to attend. Registration can be found at http://www.tedxorangecoast.com/apply-to-attend/. Tickets will go on sale September 1 and are $100 for general admission and $50 for students.
