Teens in Tech Networks Acquires Yazzem; Launches Teens in Tech v2

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - January 20, 2010) - Teens in Tech Networks, the company dedicated to helping the youth publish their content online, today announced that it has acquired Yazzem. Zachary Collins and Dustin Snider founded Yazzem in June 2009, both 14 years of age, to simplify a way to create and discuss topics in Twitter and FriendFeed.

In the acquisition, Yazzem becomes a product of Teens in Tech Networks, and development will continue on Yazzem. Yazzem's employees, including its co-founders, join Teens in Tech Networks. This is Teens in Tech Networks' second acquisition; in March 2009 the company acquired Youth Bloggers Network, a blog collaboration network for youth bloggers.

"We're very excited to welcome Zachary, Dustin and the Yazzem product to Teens in Tech Networks. We see lots of potential growth, under the Teens in Tech Networks brand," said Daniel Brusilovsky, CEO and founder, Teens in Tech Networks.

Along with the announcement of the Yazzem acquisition, Teens in Tech Networks is also announcing Teens in Tech v2, the latest version to their flagship product, Teens in Tech. Teens in Tech enables teens to sign up for a free blog, and upload audio, video, pictures, text and other media types to share with the rest of the internet.

With Teens in Tech v2, new features include: a brand new design, featured posts, partner advertising, suggested users, and many more. With Teens in Tech v2, Teens in Tech Networks will also start making revenue.

Next month, Teens in Tech Networks will host the second annual Teens in Tech Conference on February 6, 2010 at Google's San Francisco offices. Speakers include Joe Hewitt, Danny Trinh, Vitor Lourenço and many more. For more information, visit
