Tekelec to Discuss New Operator Business Models, Profitability and Revenue Streams at Mobile Broadband World

Will Present on Policy Control and Congestion Management

MORRISVILLE, NC--(Marketwire - September 20, 2010) -  Tekelec (NASDAQ: TKLC), the broadband data management company, will present and exhibit at Mobile Broadband World 2010, held September 27-29 in London. Randy Fuller, director of business planning, will present "Full Circle Control: Using Real-Time Network Feedback and Policy Control to Maximise the Network" on September 27 at 2 p.m. GMT. Tekelec will be located at Stand 4. 

Fuller will discuss how operators can measure and manage mobile broadband congestion, and he will share his experiences on the innovative techniques operators have been using to solve one of the industry's most pressing concerns: the bandwidth-value gap. Fuller's presentation will:

  • Examine the required network elements to provide real-time feedback-based network control
  • Provide insights on the types of future services network feedback and policy control could enable.

His presentation will be a part of the Technology & Transport (Stream A) portion of the program.

Fuller has more than 18 years of marketing, sales and business development experience with software, networking and consulting firms, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 organizations. He comes to Tekelec from the company's acquisition of policy control leader Camiant, where he was vice president of business development.
