Tekelec to Discuss the Challenges of Delivering Voice Over LTE Networks at 4G World

MORRISVILLE, NC--(Marketwire - October 13, 2010) -  Tekelec (NASDAQ: TKLC), the broadband data management company, is presenting and exhibiting at 4G World, held October 18-21 in Chicago. Randy Fuller, director of business planning, will speak on the panel "Challenges and Options for Delivering Voice Over 4G Networks" on October 19 at 3 p.m. Tekelec will be located at booth 716.

The panel will address the state of the GSMA VoLTE (Voice over LTE) initiative and obstacles to supporting voice on 4G networks, including network interoperability and existing network support. Fuller will offer his insights on how Tekelec supports operators' transition to LTE networks to ensure a consistent customer experience. The panel is part of the 4G Operator Strategies track.

Fuller has more than 18 years of marketing, sales and business development experience with software, networking and consulting firms, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 organizations. He comes to Tekelec from the company's acquisition of policy control leader Camiant, where he was vice president of business development.
