Telcordia Tackles Content Delivery, Advertising, Personalization and Customer Experience at Management World 2008

Presentations, Demonstrations Provide Answers to Telecom's Toughest Questions

PISCATAWAY, NJ--(Marketwire - November 17, 2008) - Communications service providers (CSPs) struggling with finding ways to generate new revenue and provide a quality experience will not want to miss what Telcordia has to say at Management World 2008, which will be held in Orlando, FL, November 18-20, 2008. Telcordia experts will delve into the hottest topics in the industry including delivering personalized content, exploring new content and advertising models and assuring a superior customer experience.

Several Telcordia experts will present during the 3-day event. Among the Telcordia speakers are Bill Stanley, Director of Strategic Business Development, Operations Solutions, who will present "Assuring The Customer Experience: Does Your Network Extend Beyond Your Grasp?," and Grant Lenahan, Vice President & Strategist, Service Delivery Solutions, who will present "Thinking Out of the Network: Security, Controls & Convenience as the Key to a Thriving E-Commerce & Mobile marketing Eco-System," and in a separate session, "Realizing Service Marketplaces through SDF, Syndication and B2B Agreements."

Telcordia also supplies the Team Leadership for the E-commerce and Advertising track in Content Encounter 3, an interactive demonstration that showcases the future of converged communications, information and entertainment services. Championed by AT&T, Swisscom and Verizon, Content Encounter 3 gives CSPs insight into how to monetize these services, including charging advertisers and allowing subscribers to receive sponsored services, while respecting their choice and privacy. In Content Encounter 3, 20 participating companies will focus on five major areas including an E-commerce and Advertising track, which demonstrates how to improve customer acceptance by delivering targeted advertisements in a converged environment and how to change the business model to monetize off-deck content.

Content Encounter 3 features the Telcordia® Real-Time Charging solution, a flexible online charging and policy-control solution that enables competitive differentiation, new business models and rapid time-to-market for CSPs when deploying mobile, converged and interactive services. It also features the Telcordia® Real-Time Policy solution, which allows CSPs to create service environments that are tailored to their individual needs. Specifically designed to support a user-focused interactive services vision, Telcordia Real-Time Policy is ideal for the types of services that are part of the Content Encounter vision.
