ANNAPOLIS, MD--(Marketwire - Jun 17, 2011) - TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) (NASDAQ: TSYS), a world leader in highly reliable and secure mobile communication technology, today announced that two of its industry experts will be speaking at the 2011 National Emergency Number Association (NENA) conference on June 20 and June 22 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The conference is recognized for bringing together public safety experts and telecommunications innovators to discuss the technologies transforming the 9-1-1 system.

  • "NG9-1-1 for the Rest of Us," June 20; 1:30 p.m. CT

Mr. Gojanovich has been actively involved in the development of 9-1-1 technical standards at the national level since 1993. TCS Director of Next Generation 9-1-1 John Hunt and panelists will provide case studies of agencies and 9-1-1 networks that are in the process of implementing or are currently using NG9-1-1 technologies. These systems will handle calls originating from both the legacy 9-1-1 system and the Next Generation call origination environment. The panel will cover topics in system selection criteria, design, implementation, management and use.
